Amy Reiter is the Deputy Art Director at Hello! Fashion Monthly, and is currently expecting her second baby – a little brother or sister for her adorable 3 year old son. We caught up with her to talk maternity fashion, must-have makeup and what makes her happy…

1)      Describe your style in 3 words

Feminine, vintage-inspired, bohemian.

2)      Where do you find fashion inspiration?

Having always worked in fashion magazines I would say I get a lot of my inspiration from there. Hello! Fashion Monthly has a great mix of things which are affordable and aspirational. The fashion team often come into work wearing something fabulous that I end up coveting ( ; When I have the time, scouring the shops is still one of my favourite pass times, the best thing is picking up something really original for a great price!

3)      Was it easy to adapt your style for pregnancy?

I’m a big fan of high-waisted skirts and dresses – so switching these out for an over the bump empire line waist was easy! That being said, since my bump has started to grow, I feel most comfortable in fitted clothing with solid block colours – I love the Burgundy Maternity Shift Dress – and accessorising with a fab chunky necklace or vintage brooch is the key to keeping my outfit fun and interesting.

4)      What’s the best bit of pregnancy advice you received and who was it from?

Bank your sleep before the baby comes! (although quite difficult second time round with a very active 3 year old!)

5)      We are confiscating your makeup bag – you’re allowed to keep three essential cosmetics. What do you choose?

A matt bronzer- Guerlain is my favourite. Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, it’s magic – I like it to highlight my cheek bones and moisturise lips – it gives you a glow even when you’ve had next to no sleep! A good black mascara.

Essential cosmetics

6)      What’s your favourite Seraphine piece & why?

I love the cowl neck glitter maternity dress teamed with a pair of leather look leggings. I recently wore this outfit to a party and felt quite glam as well as comfortable which for me is a must at nearly 7 months pregnant.

7)      What was your favourite moment of pregnancy?

Getting the OK at the 12 week scan and being able to tell my 3 year old that he was going to be a big brother.

8)   Tell us your idea of happiness…

Chocolate croissants!
